“Birth is an opportunity to transcend. To rise above what we are accustomed to, reach deeper inside ourselves than we are familiar with, and to see not only what we are truly made of, but the strength we can access in and through birth.”— Marcie Macari
My belief is that every person deserves the opportunity to have their desired birth, and that they should have support through the entire process, no matter the circumstances. Whatever the vision, I believe we all need to educate ourselves about our bodies, about interventions and what they mean for comfort, mobility and health. Every parent should go into birth feeling empowered to bring a child into this world, knowing all of the options and understanding the depth of each option. I believe that proper support and education is imperative to experiencing positive growth in our culture and medical system, and I look forward to supporting you through your journey, in whatever way that may be…
If you are interested in working with me I would be happy to set up a free consultation. No obligation or pressure. My goal is for you to find the best doula for your family.

I am currently working toward my Prenatal and Perinatal Educator Certification (PPNE) through a comprehensive program by the Association for Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology. Check out Bodhi Birth and Wellness on social media to follow me on this journey!
Acupressure for Birth
Beginning at 37 weeks gestation, when approved by your care provider, I provide separate in-home acupressure services to help prepare your body for labor. I use a doula-specific protocol designed by a licensed Acupuncterist to help prepare your body for a smoother transition into labor and birth. Each session is one hour.
For my doula clients who would like to utilize this service outside of our prenatal appointments, the fee is discounted.
